BCBA/LBA Supervisor

We are looking to hire Licensed Behavior Analysts in the Anchorage and Matanuska-Susistna areas to supervise home cases.

Required Degrees/Certifications:

• Master’s Degree in ABA
• BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
• Designation as a Licensed Behavior Analyst in state of practice, or limited permit

Required Skills:

• Expertise with Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT); Natural Environment Teaching (NET); Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA); and the ABLLS-R and VB-MAPP Assessments
• Development of behavior plans and skill acquisition plans
• Experience training staff and parents
• Extremely strong oral and written communication skills
• Minimum of 3 year working with people with autism and related developmental disabilities

Behavior Technician

We are hiring behavioral service providers to work one-to-one with children.

If you already have an RBT® certification, please select the RBT® option when applying.

If you do not have an RBT® certification, please select the No RBT® option.

Required Degrees/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (psychology, education, etc.) is preferred
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT); or willingness to participate in our RBT training course

Required Skills:

• Experience with Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT); Natural Environment Teaching (NET); and the implementation of behavioral support plans
• Experience working with parents
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children with autism

    Internship & Practicum

     

    Internship & Practicum Placements

    Helping Hands ABA LLC, Alaska offers paid internship and practicum placements for students interested in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), social work, psychology, education, and related helping professions. Our program provides hands-on, supervised experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a supportive, ethical, and professional environment.

     

    About the Internship

    Interns gain real-world experience by working directly with learners while also gaining exposure to the administrative and operational aspects of a home-based ABA agency. This placement is ideal for students seeking meaningful clinical experience alongside structured supervision and mentorship.

    Interns may:

    • Shadow and work alongside BCBAs and RBTs
    • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy and collect data
    • Participate in intakes, home visits, and family engagement
    • Support program development, quality assurance, and community initiatives

    Training, Supervision & Support

    Helping Hands ABA is committed to high-quality training and ethical practice. Interns receive:

    • Guidance aligned with ABA and social work practicum requirements

    This placement is appropriate for both ABA-focused students and social work interns seeking clinical and community-based experience.

    Schedule & Format

    • Flexible scheduling based on student availability and program requirements
    • Hybrid model combining in-person and remote responsibilities
    • Evening and weekend opportunities available

     

    Compensation

    This is a paid internship. Interns are compensated for direct ABA therapy work and other assigned responsibilities, providing both educational and practical professional experience.

    Requirements

     

    • Interest in working with individuals with ASD
    • Professionalism, reliability, and openness to learning
    • Completion of agency onboarding and background check
    • Required Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training (completed prior to or during placement, as determined by the agency)

    No prior ABA experience is required.
